How it works

  1. 1

Pick a paper, or build your own

Sit a full previous-year paper, or filter the bank down to the single chapter you keep getting wrong.

  2. 2

Sit it like the real thing

A timed room with a question palette, mark-for-review, negative marking and autosave. Close the tab and resume where you stopped.

  3. 3

    Find the gap

The attempt turns into weak chapters, pace and guessing habits, written as plain sentences you can act on tonight.

What you get

Everything listed here is built and working today.

  • A real exam room

Countdown clock, question palette, mark for review, negative marking and sectional timing. Keyboard shortcuts and a focus mode that hides everything else.

  • Tests you build yourself

Filter the bank by exam, subject, chapter, difficulty and year. Choose how many questions and how long the clock runs, then sit it.

  • A mistake notebook

Every wrong answer, grouped by chapter, kept until you fix it. One click turns the unresolved ones back into a fresh practice test.

  • Syllabus coverage

Which chapters you have actually practised, which you have never touched, and what is falling due for revision.

  • Readiness against your goal

Set a target exam date and score. See the pace that requires, and whether your current trend actually gets you there.

  • Worked solutions

Step-by-step explanations with the original figures, on questions a person has reviewed and approved.

Numbers are easy. Knowing what they mean is the hard part.

Most dashboards hand you a score. This one tells you what the score is caused by, in a sentence you can act on the same evening.

It is also honest about its limits. Readiness, pace and percentile figures are labelled as estimates and carry the number of attempts they are based on — a projection built on four tests is presented as a projection built on four tests.

  • You are strongest in Electrostatics (81%) and weakest in Rotational Motion (34%). Six of your last ten mistakes came from that one chapter.
  • You spend 2.4 times longer on the questions you get wrong. On a three-hour paper that is roughly 18 marks of pace.
  • At your current rate you reach 62% syllabus coverage by 15 January. Your target needs 80%.

Common questions

Is VidhyaKosh free?

Yes. Every question, mock test and analytics feature on the site today is free to use. A premium tier is planned, but nothing is behind a paywall right now.

Which exams does it cover?

JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET, across Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. School boards, foundation courses and olympiads are on the roadmap and are not available yet.

Where do the questions come from?

Previous-year papers. Each paper is scanned, transcribed, split into individual questions and tagged against the syllabus, then checked by a person before anything is published.

Are the answers and solutions reliable?

Every published question has been through human review: the answer key, the chapter tags and the worked solution are all checked before it goes public. Anything that fails review never reaches the site.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in a browser on a phone or a laptop. Tests autosave as you go, so you can close the tab in the middle of a paper and resume from the question you were on.

Can I practise a single chapter?

Yes. Build a custom test filtered by subject, chapter, difficulty and year, and choose the question count and the duration. You can also turn your own unresolved mistakes into a fresh test in one click.

Your next mock is the one that tells you what to fix.

Free account, no card. Start with a full previous-year paper, or a ten-question set on the single chapter you keep losing marks to.
